There is absolutely nothing in my life right now that isn't complete shit.

All I want is for one thing. Just one thing to go right. I don't even care what it is.

And the thing is? I don't see that happening.

There's not even anyone to talk to. It doesn't help. All I do is feel like I'm complaining, anyway. So why bother.

God, I just want something to go right.

Finding Nemo!

rawumber's fault... ;)

Just so I don't lose it again...

1. Old Robin is dead and laid in his grave,
Laid in his grave, laid in his grave;
Old Robin is dead and laid in his grave,
Oh, oh, oh
2. They buried him under an apple tree, etc.
3. The apples grew ripe over his head, etc.
4. An old woman came a-pickin' 'em up, etc.
5. And Robin got up and gave her a kick, etc.
6. It made the old woman go hippity-hop, etc.
I need a happy place.

First post in weeks, and yes, it's a meme. Such is the excitement of my life.

I could mention the fact that the dogs lost the water bowl this morning. Disappeared. One of these dogs is a regular Houdini. Water bowl still hasn't been found, and we've actually moved furniture. It's just... gone.

I could go into the fight with the hubby today, but you know, that's just boring. He's still alive, so it's not like there was any mayhem. No tears, even. Just a few doors slamming, and this time it wasn't even me! I must be maturing or something.

Not. Just that he started slamming before me, and I hate to be unoriginal.

On with the meme. Ironic, innit?Collapse )

I need an intervention.

Hrmph.

Dear Moron:

Get thee gone from mine livejournal, and show not thy idiocy again, for if thou dost, I shall smite thee with the wrath of a thousand virgin nuns.

Thank you,
The Management.

You know you've been roleplaying and IMing far, far too much when:

You're talking on the phone to your sister, and she says her phone sucks, and you actually say "*smacks phone*".

It was my birthday yesterday.

I'm starting to hate birthdays. Anyway. Alan was out of town for work, didn't think he'd make it back.

So Sis-in-law and I went out for supper, then I went and got my hair cut. They chopped off over a foot (which I'm sending to Locks of Love) and my hair is still about an inch below my shoulders. It was very, very long. I can't believe how much lighter it feels now. Not to mention so much easier to take care of.

So I get to the hair place, and get to the station where the woman is going to cut my hair, and she hands me a card and an IPod Mini. Happy birthday to me!

Turns out Alan managed to get home from Boston, knew I was getting my hair cut, and went shopping. He stopped at the hair place, dropped off the stuff as a surprise. He's such a good Dobby.

I got a package last week from deense (sorry, dear, for not posting earlier!). An early birfday present! She sent me my very own Tasmanian Devil, and some stickers, a couple of Tim Tams... a fish keychain and a fish eraser... AND!! The newest Anita Blake book. Which I finished almost immediately. Whole lot of Nathaniel love in that book. *happy sigh*

Mom Patty and Aunt Linda left me happy birthday IMs, which was very nice. I didn't have a chance to talk to them, they were offline when I got to the computer.

Other than this, my life has been incredibly boring for ... weeks. Except for allergies/sinus crap, everything is pretty good, though.

...Where are all the male strippers? I think I want to go to a strip club. /random

Today is our seventh wedding anniversary. To celebrate, we went out for dinner and to a movie.

We saw Constantine. The only other movie at the theater that sort of interested me was Cursed, and the teenybopper running the soda stand said that Constantine was the better of the two. Ouch.

Cut for spoilersCollapse )

So, all in all, I wouldn't pay to go see this movie again, but it's worth a DVD rental.

4-Year-Old Mich. Boy Drives Mother's Car

I did that.

Only I think I was about 2, maybe three. Locked my mom out of the car, pulled the car into gear and away we went!

Ran over an electrical box and over a tree, almost hit a trailer house. The tree was a young tree though, and bent enough to keep the car from going any further. Mission failure.

Mom was running along side the car the whole time, trying to get me to unlock the door. I just laughed at her, according to all reports.

Explains a lot, doesn't it?
